Gasgoo Munich- On April 27, MINIEYE announced plans to partner with neueHCT, a global supplier of intelligent driving systems, to establish a joint venture focused on mobile robotics.Image source: neueHCTThe new entity will combine both companies' strengths in technology, capital, and market access to develop a full-spectrum portfolio of mobile robot solutions. Its scope will span indoor environments, industrial parks, urban areas, and open roads, with autonomous delivery vehicles positioned as the initial entry point. The broader goal is to build an integrated value chain covering R&D, mass production, and global deployment. At the Auto China 2026, MINIEYE also unveiled the T5 Pro, described as China's first "true mapless" Level 4 autonomous logistics vehicle. Developed as part of the collaboration, the model is designed for rapid deployment, with the company highlighting its ability to be operational within hours and adapt to diverse environments out of the box.The T5 Pro represents a shift in the unmanned logistics sector, delivering improvements in system performance, cost efficiency, and cross-scenario adaptability. By eliminating reliance on high-definition maps, the vehicle is able to operate in complex urban settings while significantly reducing deployment timelines, enabling faster commercialization.Looking ahead, the partnership will expand along two key tracks. In the passenger vehicle segment, the companies plan to develop integrated ADAS and driver monitoring system (DMS) solutions for L2 and L2+ factory-installed applications, leveraging their combined experience in R&D and mass production. In parallel, they will advance Level 4 autonomous logistics technologies, focusing on innovation pathways and accelerating real-world deployment in targeted scenarios and overseas markets. Data generated from large-scale L2 deployments will also be used to refine L4 algorithms and training models. The move comes as global demand for intelligent logistics solutions accelerates, driven by advances in autonomous driving technologies. By forming a joint venture, the two companies aim to quickly consolidate resources and capture emerging opportunities in unmanned transportation.Leveraging their international channels, regulatory experience, and operational know-how, the partners intend to expand into key overseas markets including Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia. The strategy is expected to reduce market entry costs while speeding up order conversion and global rollout.Over the longer term, the joint venture aligns with MINIEYE's dual-track strategy combining L2 and L4 technologies, strengthening its position across the intelligent mobility value chain. The collaboration is also expected to unlock new growth opportunities as the two companies integrate capabilities across multiple business domains.Founded in 2022 as a joint venture between automotive supplier AUMOVIO and Horizon Robotics, neueHCT focuses on delivering advanced driver assistance and intelligent driving solutions to automakers worldwide. Its core products have already secured production programs with several leading global OEMs, underscoring its growing presence in the autonomous driving supply chain.
