By combining vehicle deployment, logistics operations and customer access, they aim to accelerate commercial adoption while creating a standardized blueprint that can be replicated across multiple cities.DiDi Delivery has already deployed autonomous delivery vehicles in commercial operations, where they serve high-frequency, small-volume delivery orders for local merchants. However, the companies noted that traditional reliance on high-definition maps has slowed large-scale deployment and limited operational flexibility. Their collaboration is intended to address these challenges by establishing an integrated ecosystem covering vehicle supply, platform operations and city-level expansion.Under the agreement, MINIEYE will supply its Bamboo series of production-ready L4 autonomous delivery vehicles, together with its full autonomous driving software stack and lifecycle technical support. The company said it will continue refining the platform to better handle complex urban traffic environments while leveraging its established manufacturing, delivery and after-sales service network. The Bamboo fleet has already been deployed in 18 cities across China, supporting applications ranging from parcel delivery and urban freight to on-demand logistics. Its flagship Bamboo T5 Pro, equipped with the company's map-free autonomous driving technology, is designed to improve environmental adaptability, reduce deployment costs and enable faster expansion into new cities without relying on high-definition maps.DiDi Delivery operates an integrated urban delivery platform through the Didi app and its dedicated mini program, allowing users to request autonomous delivery services digitally. Supported by its proprietary intelligent dispatching engine and cloud-based logistics platform, the company connects L4 autonomous delivery vehicle providers with city logistics networks and connected road infrastructure through an open ecosystem. As the first step in the partnership, MINIEYE and DiDi Delivery will jointly deliver a turnkey autonomous logistics solution for commercial customers in Foshan, with the goal of creating an operational model that can be replicated in other Chinese cities as deployment expands. The partnership represents a broader effort to connect L4 autonomous driving technology with real-world logistics operations at scale. By integrating vehicle development, manufacturing, regulatory operations and commercial deployment into a single ecosystem, the companies aim to accelerate the evolution of autonomous urban logistics from pilot projects to large-scale commercial services. MINIEYE said it will continue advancing autonomous driving technologies and expanding application scenarios while working with industry partners to promote the next phase of intelligent, citywide autonomous freight operations.
