McMurtry also says that the inspiration for the Pure is a more usable, ownership-friendly version of the prototype, but it shares 95% of its components with the real record-breaking performance model.The Pure uses downforce-on-demand technology produced by the massive rear fan, coupled with aerodynamics, lightweight construction, and a 1,000-hp electric motor to blast from 0-60 mph in warp-speed-like 1.38 seconds.McMurty AutomotiveWhile a production model sounds fun, the Pure is actually only legal on the racetrack. Nevertheless, the performance should be enough to convince a lucky group of just 100 people to part ways with around $1.3 million for a track toy. First deliveries of the car are set to begin towards the latter half of 2026.The confidence of a small brand to build 100 cars comes from the fact that McMurtry is also an advanced engineering company. They just built a new state-of-the-art production facility at the Swinhay House estate.
