Peak output in Launch mode remains at 1,019 horsepower, but torque increases slightly to 936 lb-ft. Other drive modes see modest gains as well, with standard output rising to 804 horsepower and Attack mode climbing to 978. With Porsche development driver Lars Kern at the wheel, a Taycan Turbo GT equipped with both the Weissach and Manthey packages recorded a lap time of 6:55.553 on the 12.9-mile Nordschleife. That cuts more than 12 seconds from the previous Weissach-only run of 7:07.55 and positions the car as the quickest production electric sedan in its class around the circuit. For context, that time now sits ahead of China's Xiaomi SU7 Ultra with its Track package, which posted a 7:04.957. The Chinese have been bragging about this car for the last year and even went so far as to take out special advertising around the Nordschleife as a boast. Porsche hasn't said what the Manthey kit will cost, though it's safe to assume it won't be cheap. The Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package already starts at $245,950, and Manthey's involvement has historically come at a large premium.
