The new MPV enters the market with six variants, featuring both extended-range (EREV) and pure electric (BEV) powertrain options. The lower main light units are nearly square, while the upper horizontal light bar incorporates a folded design, aligning with Leapmotor’s family styling. The vehicle is available in five exterior colours: Photoelectric White, Liquid Silver, Chenjing Blue, Skyscape Grey, and Metallic Black. The side profile is defined by a silver trim outlining the roof arc, with a thickened D-pillar and hidden sliding door rails beneath the third-row windows. The vehicle is equipped with high-gloss chrome disc wheels and a massive panoramic sunroof with a light-transmitting area of 1.46㎡, offering over 99.9% UV protection. The rear features an integrated horizontal taillight connected to the rear window, incorporating ISD smart interactive lighting, with the “LEAPMOTOR” logo positioned below. Interior The interior is equipped with a digital instrument cluster, a large floating central control screen, a Head-Up Display (HUD), and a ceiling-mounted entertainment screen for rear passengers. The D99 supports multiple configurations, including flat-folding for the first and second rows, 180-degree flat-folding for the third row, and various combinations for sleeping or social settings. The second row features rotating zero-gravity aviation seats that support a 90-degree viewing angle and face-to-face seating with the third row, complemented by an interior table. Technology and powertrain The D99 debuts Leapmotor’s centralised domain controller for cockpit and driving integration, powered by dual 8797 chips providing 1280 TOPS of computing power. It also features an on-device large model smart cockpit and the VLA large model for assisted driving. The powertrain lineup: EREV Version: Features an 800V high-voltage platform, a dual-motor four-wheel-drive extended-range system, and Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) technology, paired with an 80.3 kWh battery pack.
