The 85th anniversary onslaught of special edition Jeeps continues this month with the 2026 Wrangler and Gladiator Rewind models, the sixth special editions for each respective vehicle for the model year. Many of Jeeps special edition vehicles over the years have focused on the brand's military history, vehicles from the middle of the 20th century, and general outdoorsy themes. The Rewind, on the other hand, focuses on the end of the millennium. It's high time the era got some love, too, since that's when the Wrangler was still fresh (remember, the Wrangler didn't arrive until 1987). Jeep It Started As An Easter Jeep Safari Concept If the Rewind looks familiar, that's because Jeep basically previewed it as a concept for last year's Easter Jeep Safari. It had the same name along with the same purple and basically the same vinyl graphics. It won't only be available in purple, though, with Jeep offering a a few colors including orange, blue, white, black, and a couple of greys. The minor difference in graphics seems to involve even more prominent stripes on the sides of the vehicles. Even the "4 Wheel Drive" sticker on the back has been given a rad redesign and the Wrangler gets a specially-branded spare tire cover. It does drop the gold accents from the concept's grille, leaving them just on the wheels and tow hooks, but we think the reduced gold is good overall. It also lacks the enormous 37-inch tires of the concept, but the aftermarket is willing and able to help with that. The included all-terrain tires shouldn't be bad, though, and Jeep also adds some steel rock rails for extra protection. We're a little sad to see the neon pink and turquoise Memphis Design-style dash and seat upholstery of the concept go, but we're not entirely surprised. Besides probably being a pain to make on a mass scale, a lot of owners probably don't want to be greeted by that much intensity in the morning before heading to work. Instead, the interior is mostly black, but Jeep still added fun details.JeepThe Nappa leather seats have pixelated military Jeeps at the tops of the seat backs, and the inserts have additional debossed squares. Jeep hasn't left out all the color, thankfully, as pink and turquoise contrast stitching shows up on the dash and seats. Jeep also includes a unique shift knob and cupholder badging. When You Can Get One Besides styling changes, the Rewind gets a few extra features thrown in as standard. It comes with remote start, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, LED lighting, rear locking differential, trailer hitch, and auxiliary switches. Exact pricing hasn't been given, but Jeep says the Rewind costs "$1,900 on top of comparably equipped Willys models."For reference, the Wrangler Willys trim starts at around $45,750 for the two-door, and $46,995 for the four-door. The Gladiator Willys starts at $47,745. That means Rewinds will be hovering around the $50,000 mark.
