American automakers are launching special editions of their vehicles to honor the country’s 250th anniversary.Ram, Chevrolet, and Ford have special models planned.Semiquincentennial comes from “semi” (half) + “quin” (five) + “centennial” (100) = 250 years, or half of a 500th anniversary.What better way to celebrate America’s semiquincentennial (250 years) than with a flag-draped American pickup truck made in Sterling Heights, Michigan? Answer: There is no better way!What colors do they come in? Really, do you even have to ask that question? You can order your Ram 1500 America250 special-edition pickups in Red, White, or Blue Denim. More specifically, that’s Molten Red Pearl-Coat, Hydro Blue Pearl-Coat, or Bright White Clear-Coat. Stellantis’s US brands will roll out limited-edition America250 models for all four of its domestic brands in the time leading up to Independence Day. Stellantis partnered with the nonpartisan US Semiquincentennial Commission for the celebration. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram are among three dozen sponsors listed on the commission’s website, along with Amazon, Cracker Barrel, and Walmart. Chevrolet trucks and ’Vettes ready for America’s 250th.Not to be outdone, Chevrolet revealed its new Stars & Steel Collection featuring trucks and ’Vettes.
