The milestone model is the Galaxy M7, a mid-size PHEV SUV expected to launch in April. On March 5, Geely Galaxy announced that its 2 millionth mass-produced vehicle had officially rolled off the production line. From the brand’s launch in February 2023 to reaching 2 million units in March 2026, Geely Galaxy took just 37 months to achieve the milestone. According to official information, the 2 millionth vehicle is the Galaxy M7. Following the flagship SUV M9, the M7 is the second model in the Galaxy M series and the first mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV in the lineup. Under current plans, the Galaxy M7 is expected to officially launch in April, targeting the family car segment priced at RMB 100,000–150,000 ($14,460–$21,690). After launch, it will compete with mainstream models such as BYD’s Song lineup. On the same day, Geely also released teaser images of a new model, the Geely Galaxy Xingyao 7. The company said the vehicle will become its first mid-size electrified hybrid sedan equipped with all-wheel drive. Geely Galaxy Xingyao 7 According to official information released by Geely and filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Xingyao 7 measures 4,958 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,852 mm. It will be equipped with Geely’s new-generation EM-i AI Hybrid 2.0 system, which combines a 1.5 L engine with an electric motor. In addition to sedans and urban SUVs, Galaxy is also preparing to enter the hardcore off-road SUV segment. The brand’s first “technology-focused hardcore SUV,” the Galaxy Cruiser, is currently undergoing winter testing in Northern Europe. Geely Galaxy Cruiser The model is expected to make its official debut at the Auto China 2026 and is planned to launch within the year. Over the past two years, Geely Galaxy has successively introduced several plug-in hybrid and battery-electric models, gradually building a relatively complete product portfolio. Official data show that Geely Galaxy delivered 73,125 vehicles in February, down 11.9% month-on-month and 3.9% year-on-year.
