ford recalls 2026 escape and lincoln corsairFord is recalling just over 200 examples of the 2026 Escape and Lincoln Corsair SUVs. The concern is around the integrated park module that may fail to lock into the park position when the driver shifts into park. If it does fail, the vehicle is at risk of rolling away and is a safety hazard. To fix the problem, the Secondary On Board Diagnostic Module C (SOBDMC) software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Initial letters to notify owners of the safety risk should be sent out by May 20, 2026. A secondary letter will follow up once the update fix is available, anticipated in June 2026.
