As such, price will surely be a major factor for those considering the 2027 Corsair, but perhaps its specifications can make a good case.FordThe Numbers Behind the New CorsairNow standard is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid powertrain producing a combined 305 horsepower. The Corsair is no stranger to electrification, as the outgoing model was available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Unlike that system, however, the new hybrid cannot be plugged in and does not offer an electric-only driving range, though at least it could spare owners some of the potential reliability concerns associated with PHEVs.AdvertisementAdvertisementDesign-wise, the 2027 Corsair adopts slimmer headlights that bring it in line with the rest of Lincoln's lineup. At the rear, it retains a full-width light bar, but the outer sections now sweep downward into the corners. The automaker is also offering new wheel designs in 18-, 19-, and 20-inch sizes, along with five new exterior colors.The interior, meanwhile, should still feel familiar to those who have been inside the outgoing model. However, Lincoln added a new Stellar Sun theme, a softer one-piece seat design, and a standard hands-free highway driving system. The Reserve trim offers available front seats with 24-way power adjustment, Active Motion massage, heating, and ventilation.FordThe Next ChapterThe 2027 Corsair starts at $46,495, excluding destination charges, for the Premiere trim, while the top-spec Reserve starts at $53,495.
