Lamborghini launched three fragrances with perfume house Xerjoff. Every box hides a real piece of leather from the factory floor. The different scents are colored in green, orange, and blue. If you’re used to wearing fragrances from popular designer brands like Dior, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Mont Blanc, or others, there are now three new scent options from a rather unexpected brand: Lamborghini. The Italian supercar maker has teamed up with fellow Italian outfit Xerjoff, a perfume house, to create a trio of scents. And before you ask, none of them are meant to evoke gasoline or a glowing-hot titanium exhaust. They’re designed to be considerably more pleasant than that, presumably so you don’t scare off your next date. The first of these, Avanguardia, comes in a blue-and-black bottle and offers a woody, fruity scent profile, with top notes including mandarin, davana, and cherry, while key middle notes include black violet and rose geraniol. At the base, there’s tonka bean, styrax, and olibanum. Fierezza gets an orange-and-black bottle and an oriental, fresh character, built around pink pepper, Sichuan pepper, geranium, frangipani, suede, and amber. Perseveranza rounds out the set in green and black with a woody, spicy profile that leans on ginger, pimento berry, clove bud, and tonka bean. The Lamborghini Touch All three perfumes come in a high-quality box that includes a small piece of colored leather directly from Lamborghini’s upholstery department. “When embarking on this collaboration, I knew we could create something truly special together,” founder and creative director of Xerjoff, Sergio Momo, said. “Xerjoff and Automobili Lamborghini belong to different worlds, yet both embody the essence of Made in Italy. We share the same values and the same ambition to achieve excellence, and this is precisely what we have accomplished with these fragrances.” The most affordable of the trio is Perseveranza at $558 a bottle, followed by Fierezza at $586, with Avanguardia topping the range at $627. That’s serious money for a fragrance, but for anyone who already owns a Lamborghini, it probably qualifies as pocket change.
