By 2030, the entire North American showroom will be updated, with 11 new nameplates and 12 refreshed models. Stellantis wants to increase market coverage from 60 to 90 percent, entering five new segments, and it also aims to improve its cost competitiveness.ChryslerStarting with Chrysler, the stagnant brand will finally make some moves. Chrysler will focus on practicality, reliability, and comfort. The refreshed 2027 Pacifica will be supplemented by three new SUVs. First comes a mid-size crossover based on the STLA One, called the Airflow. It's unclear how similar this will be to the concept shown in 2022, but we don't expect it to come exclusively as an EV, with hybrid powertrains likely.Chrysler (Chrysler)There will also be a pair of compact crossovers using platforms from Europe. The Arrow will be getting a more sedan-like shape, and the Arrow Cross will have a more traditional SUV silhouette. Chrysler is also targeting a sub-$30,000 entry point for the Arrow models, which will offer a variety of powertrains.DodgeAt Dodge, a new, smaller SUV will slot in below the Durango using the GLH moniker, which first appeared on the Omni hatchback in the '80s and stood for "Goes Like Hell." Tim Kuniskis said this is essentially the next-generation Hornet, but how they should have done it the first time. This GLH model will include a performance-focused SRT variant, but even more exciting, Dodge is working on a new mid-size muscle car that appears to be a coupe with a large rear wing, and will also gain the SRT treatment. A refreshed Durango is also on the way, and the Charger will also get an SRT model.Illustration by Avarvarii - Car and Driver (Illustration by Avarvarii - Car and Driver)RamRam will add two new pickup trucks, starting with the compact Rampage, already sold in South America, and a new mid-size Dakota, both arriving in 2028. The Dakota will get an SRT performance trim, and Ram will also embark into new territory with a full-size SUV called the Ramcharger, which will also get the SRT treatment. An all-new light-duty truck, range-extended truck, heavy-duty truck, and full-size commercial van are also coming.Ram (Ram)JeepOver at Jeep, the off-road brand is planning a new Wrangler Scrambler, which looks like it could be a two-door pickup truck. Both this Scrambler—as well as the Grand Cherokee—are also set to receive sporty SRT models. Jeep is also working on a new Compass, more refreshes for the Grand Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer, and an internal-combustion powertrain for the Recon.Car and Driver (Car and Driver)AdvertisementAdvertisementBy 2030, this overhauled Stellantis lineup in the U.S. will have two models starting under $30,000, as well as nine models starting under $39,000.
