Each year those clubs run more than 80 youth ATV safety classes, certifying thousands of young riders to legally use state trails. As a result, the event doubles as a showcase for the Park Rapids area, which ATVAM calls one of Minnesota's premier riding destinations. An APG staff report frames the weekend as underscoring outdoor recreation's economic impact on northern Minnesota communities, adding that more than 60 dealers, businesses and individuals had already sponsored or donated to this year's event.Full details and schedule: atvmn.org, Events tab.
