World's Largest Gathering of Lamborghini MiurasLamborghiniThere were only 763 Lamborghini Miuras ever built between 1966 and 1973, but the Raging Bull managed to gather 43 of them together at Pebble for a special 60th anniversary celebration of the model."On the 3rd fairway at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Lamborghini commemorated the 60th anniversary of the legendary Miura - the world's first supercar - with an unprecedented gathering of 43 Lamborghini Miuras, the largest assembly of Miuras ever brought together anywhere in the world," Lambo said. "The historic display paid tribute to the car that forever changed automotive history, establishing the architecture of the modern super sports car and setting the foundation for generations of Lamborghini V12 icons."The display was tucked away at the far end of the Pebble Beach Concours, up a walkway, and then out onto the third fairway. The Ferrari display, meanwhile, was on the first fairway, where everyone walking toward the Pebble Beach Concours could see it. You had to really make an effort to get to the Miuras.AdvertisementAdvertisementBut once you did, you saw a great collection of P400 (for Posteriore 4 litri), the better-equipped P400Ss, and the higher-horsepower P400SV. I didn't see any SV/Js nor the single roadster or Spyder.1)Photo credit: LamborghiniOn the way to the third fairway.2)Photo credit: LamborghiniParking...3)Photo credit: LamborghiniParked!4)Photo credit: LamborghiniAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Miura got its own typeface.5)Photo credit: LamborghiniAny color you want, as long as it's any color you want.6)Photo credit: LamborghiniCrowds descend on the show.7)Photo credit: LamborghiniThis is a 1967 model8)Photo credit: LamborghiniAdvertisementAdvertisement1972 P400 SV9)Photo credit: LamborghiniCount 'em, there are 43.10)Photo credit: LamborghiniGold kit11)Photo credit: Lamborghini12)Photo credit: LamborghiniAdvertisementAdvertisement1970 P400S13)Photo credit: Lamborghini1971 Miura14)Photo credit: Lamborghini1971 Miura S15)Photo credit: Lamborghini1971 Miura S16)Photo credit: LamborghiniAdvertisementAdvertisement1968 P40017)Photo credit: Lamborghini1970 P400S18)Photo credit: Lamborghini1969 Miura S19)Photo credit: Lamborghini1970 Miura S20)Photo credit: LamborghiniAdvertisementAdvertisementSand trap requires a Sterrato
