But despite having 907 horsepower and a top speed of 213 miles per hour, the Lambo police car will not be used for chasing speeders on the Autostrade. Instead, the hybrid supercar—which was unveiled at the company's its Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters during a ceremony attended by company executives and senior Italian government and police officials—will be tasked with the emergency transport of organs and medical supplies.A Lamborghini police car may seem extreme even for Italy, but this is not the first Raging Bull to join the force. In fact, a half-dozen Lamborghinis have entered the fleet of the Italian State Police in the last 22 years. It started with a Gallardo in 2004, then a Gallardo LP 560-4 and a Huracán were added in subsequent years.
