WeRide has released its financial report for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2025. According to the data, the company’s total revenue for 2025 reached RMB 690 million, a year-on-year increase of 90%; revenue for the fourth quarter was RMB 314 million, up 123% year-on-year, accounting for nearly half of the full-year revenue and setting a new record for the highest quarterly performance. In terms of revenue structure, product revenue for the year was RMB 359.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 310.3%, becoming the core engine driving revenue growth; service revenue was RMB 324.7 million, up 18.8% year-on-year. The company’s gross profit for the year was RMB 206.8 million, an increase of 86.8% year-on-year, while the gross margin remained stable at 30.2%, largely consistent with the 30.7% recorded in 2024. WeRide Robotaxi GXR debuted at GTC 2026. Amid rapid expansion, the company achieved significant results in cost control. Operating loss for the year narrowed by 15.5% to RMB 1.8 billion, while net loss decreased by 34.2% to RMB 1.7 billion. For the fourth quarter, operating loss narrowed by 1.7% to RMB 577.2 million, and net loss decreased by 6.1% to RMB 556.1 million. The report shows that as of December 31, 2025, the company’s total balance of cash, cash equivalents, and various investments amounted to RMB 7.1 billion. As WeRide’s core business, Robotaxi experienced explosive growth. Its annual revenue reached RMB 148 million, a year-on-year increase of 209.6%, accounting for 21.6% of total revenue; fourth-quarter revenue was RMB 50.6 million, up 66.4% year-on-year. Additionally, the number of registered Robotaxi users in China grew by over 900% year-on-year in the fourth quarter. On February 6th, WeRide announced a partnership with Uber. The report noted that improvements in operational efficiency were key to the rapid growth of the Robotaxi business. Data shows that in 2025, WeRide’s total cost of ownership (TCO) in the Chinese market decreased by 38% year-on-year. On one hand, onboard hardware costs fell by 30%; on the other hand, the ratio of remote assistance personnel to vehicles increased from 1:10 in 2024 to 1:40. Currently, WeRide’s autonomous driving products have been deployed in 12 countries and over 40 cities. Its Robotaxi fleet totals 1,125 vehicles, with overseas fleet size exceeding 250 vehicles. Notably, WeRide’s Middle Eastern subsidiary has achieved operational profitability in its Robotaxi business, with overseas business gross margins approaching 50%. According to the company’s plan, it will deploy 2,600 Robotaxis globally by the end of 2026, and tens of thousands by 2030.
