First Look: 2027 Ford Super Duty Proud to Honorford - MotorTrendIn America, we love to lionize hard work and the pride that comes with doing so. We're also deeply proud of our military members and honor both those who serve and those we've lost. Ford Custom Garage is combining those two traits in the Super Duty heavy-duty truck with its Proud to Honor package. A portion of sales will go toward supporting service members, veterans, and their families through Blue Star Families. The package starts with your selection of a 2027 F-250, F-350, or F-450 in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, or Platinum trim. You'll also need the Tremor package, the Black Appearance package on XLT or Lariat trims, and Platinum models cannot have the Platinum Plus package. Finally, your Super Duty must be ordered in black, the better to show off the body-side graphic design. From there, you simply ask your dealer to source the Proud to Honor package from the Ford Custom Garage website when ordering your Super Duty. Unfortunately, even if you own a 2025 or 2026 model that meets the requirements, you won't be able to get the Proud to Honor package, as it is only intended for 2027 model-year vehicles. It is also a limited edition, and Ford says a portion of sales will go to Blue Star Families, a military service organization partnered with the Blue Oval. What Is the Proud to Honor Package Supporting?Blue Star Families focuses its support on military families, spouses, and children during deployment and throughout the challenges of military and veteran life. Ford has not yet revealed how much the Proud to Honor package will cost or how much of that price will go to Blue Star Families. The automaker also has not said how many Proud to Honor packages will be available, but it promises MSRP details are coming soon.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe good news is that even though this is a Ford aftermarket installation, it can be performed by a dealer, comes with a supplemental three-year, 36,000-mile warranty, and does not void Ford's standard new vehicle warranty.ford - MotorTrendThe First Time for Black Forged Aluminum Wheels on the Super Duty DuallyThe package adds an American flag–inspired body graphic, along with darkened exterior accents. Perhaps the most noteworthy addition is the set of black forged aluminum wheels. Super Duty models, specifically the 19.5-inch dual-rear-wheel variants, usually come with painted steel or cast-aluminum wheels, while dual-rear-wheel trucks typically get polished forged aluminum outer wheels and standard steel inner wheels. The Proud to Honor package adds black forged wheels for all versions of the Super Duty, marking the first time buyers can get black forged 19.5-inch outer wheels. We asked Ford if it includes new forged aluminum inner wheels, and we will update when it sends us a response.Photo credit: ford - MotorTrendPhoto credit: ford - MotorTrendPhoto credit: ford - MotorTrendAdvertisementAdvertisementPhoto credit: ford - MotorTrendPhoto credit: ford - MotorTrendAvailable to Order Now For the F-250The Proud to Honor package is available to order now for the 2027 Ford F-250 Super Duty; F-350 and F-450 versions won't be available until later this summer.
