2027 Ford F-150 Raptor Gets a Surprising Price CutFordFord has reduced the F-150 Raptor's starting price by $4010 for the 2027 model year. The change means the Raptor now starts $295 lower than the Ram 1500 RHO, but Ford removed standard equipment to achieve the price cut.You can add back in things like the head-up display and 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system via the $4120 Equipment Group 801A option. The war of the supertrucks is heating up. Ram has reintroduced the fire-breathing TRX SRT for the 2027 model year to battle the V-8-powered Ford's F-150 Raptor R, but both brands also still offer less powerful, albeit still ridiculously capable, six-cylinder off-roaders. Now, in a bid to steal sales from Ram's 1500 RHO, Ford has slashed $4010 from the starting price of the regular Raptor.FordThe standard F-150 Raptor will now start at $77,790, according to a dealership order guide. That's $4010 less than last year, and also $295 less than a new Ram 1500 RHO. The Raptor packs a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 with 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, and scoots to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. The 1500 RHO, meanwhile, extracts 540 hp and 521 pound-feet of torque from a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, and hits 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.AdvertisementAdvertisementFord's price reduction does come at the cost of standard equipment, however. The Raptor now skips out on the 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, rear heated seats, the power tilt/telescoping steering column, and a head-up display. Those previously standard features are now bundled into the Equipment Group 801A option, which costs $4120, so if you want your 2027 Raptor to match the options list of a 2026 Raptor, you'll actually end up paying a $10 premium.RamPricing and equipment details are not yet available for the F-150 Raptor R, but we understand that the 720-hp truck is coming back for 2027. The 2026 Raptor R required $113,525, while the 2027 TRX SRT, with its 777-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, starts at $102,790, so it's possible that Ford may reduce the price of the R-branded truck to better compete with Ram.➡️ Skip the lot.
