Rare One-Off Pagani Zonda Kunlun Spotted In Public For The First Time In YearsMotorBiscuitSaajan JogiaSun, September 13, 2026 at 11:15 AM UTCAdd us on GoogleThe ultra-rare Pagani Zonda Kunlun has made an unusual public appearance, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of one of the rarest cars in the Zonda family. The one-off hypercar was recently spotted in Hong Kong inside a garage, where it was being cleaned before being loaded onto a flatbed. The brief sighting is particularly notable because the Kunlun has spent most of its life away from the public eye.The Supercar Blog reported that the car began life as a Pagani Zonda S, carrying chassis number 76027. It later returned to the Pagani factory, where it underwent an extensive transformation that resulted in the unique machine seen today.Image credit: carspotting.hk / InstagramAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Kunlun is now owned by a Chinese collector and forms part of the SSS Collection in China. Despite its unusual status, the car has rarely been seen since the conversion was completed. The Kunlun had previously made only one public appearance, at a track event in Zhuhai. Its brief Hong Kong appearance therefore offered an unusually rare opportunity to see the one-off Zonda outside its collection.One-Off Ferrari Enzo You've Probably Never SeenSpeaking of one-off supercars, MotorBiscuit recently reported that a Ferrari Enzo finished in Matte Nero Opaco with just 3,581 miles on the odometer is currently up for auction.Ferrari buyers were still largely choosing traditional colors in the late 20th century, but that began to change in the early 2000s. While the F50 was available in just five factory colors, Enzo buyers had more freedom to personalize their cars. Rosso Corsa was the most popular choice, followed by Giallo Modena and Nero.AdvertisementAdvertisementHowever, one Enzo stood out by leaving the factory in a rare matte black finish. The car was commissioned by Brunei's royal family, known for ordering unique and highly customized cars from European manufacturers, and became the first Ferrari hypercar delivered new with a matte paint scheme. The Enzo featured a matching Nero leather interior, Rosso gauges, and large seats. It was kept at the Brunei royal family's residence in London. In 2022, the car was sent to Carrozzeria Zanasi, where it received over €110,000 ($128,024) in cosmetic work, including new headlights, bonnet glass, sticky switches, and a full repaint in its original Nero Opaco finish. It was later sold through RM Sotheby's and shipped to Canada. At the time of cataloging, it had covered just 5,763 km and remained in excellent condition.During its current ownership, the Enzo has been serviced by Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo and Ferrari of Vancouver. In August 2024, at 5,742 km, the dealership replaced the clutch, both fuel pumps, and the left-side valve cover gasket. The car has covered very little mileage since then.Image Credit: RM Sotheby's
