They carefully removed rust and oxidation before washing and polishing the body.The interior also got a makeover with the original carpets removed and deep cleaned.WD Detailing / YouTubeThe team also had to work on the engine, as the car wouldn't start when they brought it back to the workshop. The V8 had deteriorated battery cables that needed replacing, a leaking fuel line, ignition issues and a carburetor that leaked heavily around its accelerator pump.The team installed a new carburetor, cap, rotor, plug wires and spark plugs before turning the key and getting the car running.WD Detailing / YouTubeAfter repairing the engine and degreasing the engine bay, they took the Chevrolet back out on the road before returning it home for the big surprise reveal.The owner's first reaction was, "When did you take my car out?"
