According to the local dealer, the new Evoque L could be purchased for 200,000 yuan (29,545 USD). Chery and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) established a joint venture in China back in 2012. In 2014, they completed the construction of the CJLR plant in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. However, it was previously reported that this manufacturing facility will cease the production of all its models by the end of 2026, including the Evoque L. It is a strategic move as the CJLR joint venture launches the Freelander brand, aiming to reclaim the substantial market share. According to China EV DataTracker, Land Rover handed over 3,976 cars to owners from January to May 2026 in China, down 34.4% Year-Over-Year. It is worth noting that registrations of China-built Land Rovers reached an all-time high of 61,915 units in 2017. Land Rover deliveries in China. So, the price of the new Range Rover Evoque L is currently 9,600 yuan (1,420 USD) higher than the used one. Bearing in mind the Land Rover’s value retention, the used Evoque L’s prices could potentially slide down in China. It is worth noting that the new Range Rover Evoque starts at 44,430 GBP (58,795 USD) in the UK. So, the Evoque L is two times cheaper in China than the standard Evoque in the United Kingdom. Dimensions of the Evoque L are 4531/1904/1650 mm with a wheelbase of 2,841 mm. It adopts a 2-liter petrol-powered ICE for 183 kW (245 hp).
