Porsche is planning to reduce its production capacity to better align with falling demand. Between struggling with sales in China and the discontinuation of the Macan and 718 lineups in Europe, the automaker's 2025 sales fell by more than 40,000 units from their 2023 peak. Speaking to the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Porsche CEO Michael Leiters announced his expectation that the company will earn more money with fewer sales.
