Porsche created two special Chromaflair paints for this one-off 911 Turbo S. The lower half of the car is inspired by desert sand, painted Terra Australis Red. Gorgeous brown and white leather is found throughout the car’s cabin. Working in partnership with Porsche’s Sonderwunsch department, Porsche Cars Australia has unveiled a one-off 911 Turbo S built to celebrate the German brand’s 75th anniversary in the country. Appropriately known as the ‘911 Turbo S Land Down Under’, it has a bespoke paint scheme and several other custom touches. The paint of this 911 is the obvious highlight. Inspired by an outback sunset, the lower half of the exterior has a bespoke Chromaflair Terra Australis Red paint which slowly transitions into Southern Cross Blue from the shoulderline, mimicking the appearance of deep red desert sand with a blue sky. It took more than 300 hours to paint this one-off 911 Turbo S. Fitted to the Land Down Under include 20- and 21-inch Turbo Exclusive wheels with a Southern Cross Blue finish. A subtle ‘75’ has also been added to the roof of the car with a special ghosting effect. Positioned under the rear spoiler is a message reading ‘See ya later mate.’ A One-Off Cabin The interior is just as special as the exterior. It includes a headliner embroidered with a Southern Hemisphere constellation map, showing the night sky that appeared over Uluru when Porsche launched in Australia in 1951. The car also includes 18-way sports seats trimmed in Coolibah Brown with white centers and perforations inspired by brushstrokes. Elsewhere, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Land Down Under includes Dark Night Blue and Neodyme surfaces, including on the steering wheel, in addition to Australian Silky Oak wood inlays on the dashboard and rear seats. The dashboard also includes a depiction of the topography of the Blue Mountains, located west of Sydney. Photos Porsche
