Porsche Builds Three One-Off 911s for “Toy Story 5” – and the GT3 RS Becomes Buzz LightyearThe last time Porsche and Pixar teamed up on a one-off 911, the result sold at auction for $3.6 million. That was the 911 Sally Special in 2022, built around the Cars character Sally Carrera. Now the two companies are back, and this time they brought the whole Toy Story gang.Porsche, Disney, and Pixar have produced three one-of-a-kind 911s inspired by Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie, timed to the release of Toy Story 5 on June 19.The cars were built by Porsche's Sonderwunsch department – the German word translates loosely to "special wishes" – which functions as the company's bespoke personalization program.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe project ran cross-continental, with Pixar's creative team in Emeryville working alongside the Sonderwunsch team in Stuttgart, completing three custom builds in just six to eight months – a timeline that would normally stretch into years. Why the GT3 RS for BuzzOf the three cars, Buzz Lightyear's is the most dramatic. Porsche landed on a 911 GT3 RS equipped with the Weissach Package to represent the Space Ranger. The GT3 RS is one of the final production examples of this model year, and its prominent rear wing mirrors Buzz's own wing design. The body is painted white, with Green Yellow and Lizard Green accents covering the front lid, front and rear fascia, roof, fenders, lower doors, and wing endplates.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Easter eggs go deep. Graphics inside the hood vent mimic the buttons on Buzz's chest panel, the Space Ranger logo sits ahead of the windshield, and his "Lightyear" name tag appears on the hood. The magnesium wheels – an option tied to the Weissach Package – feature custom center caps with the Space Ranger logo, designed by Pixar production designer Bob Pauley. The illuminated door sills are engraved with Buzz's signature line: "To Infinity and Beyond."The standard "RS" badging has also been swapped out for "SR" – Space Ranger. It's a small detail, and it's perfect.Woody's 911 Carrera T, the most driver-focused of the three, is finished in a custom color blending Golf Blue, Dark Sea Blue, and White to replicate the worn-in look of blue jeans.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe cabin pairs Brown vintage leather with denim fabric and a red checkered pattern on the seat inlays. The door sill guards greet occupants with illuminated "Ride Like the Wind!" lettering.Jessie claimed a 2026 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS with 532 hp, dressed in an entirely new color called Jessie White Metallic – a white with a pearl overlay referencing the buttons on her western shirt. The red Targa top references her hat, and the interior is trimmed in Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Pebble Grey leather. In a detail Porsche apparently hadn't attempted before, the Targa bar itself was customized with white accent stitching and "Jessie" badging in place of the standard Targa script. All three cars made their world debut on the red carpet at the Toy Story 5 premiere on June 9 in Los Angeles. They'll be sold together, with proceeds directed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and the Starlight Children's Foundation. No pricing has been confirmed, though the Sally Special's auction result sets a fairly clear expectation for where the floor might be. Pretty damn high.
