Mansory launches a new aero kit for the 992.2 Turbo S. The package adds carbon fiber bits and a custom interior. The Soft Kit is more subtle than earlier Mansory builds. Tuners measure restraint differently. Mansory has been picking at the Porsche 911 for years, and the German shop now has another go at it with a so-called “Soft Kit” for the facelifted 992.2 Turbo S. The word soft is doing some heavy lifting here. The recently facelifted 992.2 Turbo S Coupe is, by any sane definition, fast enough. Some owners apparently disagree about how it looks. Mansory’s answer is carbon fiber, applied with the goal of nudging the standard car closer to GT2 RS territory. If this still strikes you as restrained, consider it relative. The P9LM Evo 900 exists, and and restraint is not in its vocabulary. Down the flanks, sharper side skirts meet wide fender extensions, revised mirror caps, side gills with illuminated Mansory emblems, and new side intakes. More extensive modifications can be found at the back, where Mansory added a custom diffuser and bumper extension, a larger rear wing with integrated cooling vents, a ducktail spoiler, and a matching engine cover. Most of the new bits are finished in red exposed carbon, contrasting the matte silver bodywork. The pictured example rides on five-spoke alloys with red center caps and aero discs, with discreet Mansory decals along the profile. Inside, Alcantara covers most of the surfaces, and the seats and door cards are trimmed with tartan inserts. New carpet and quilted floor mats round things out, along with Mansory emblems scattered throughout. More: This Two-Door G-Wagen Feels Like A Very Expensive Joke Only Eight People Get There are no changes under the skin, although Mansory offers performance and chassis upgrades for the 911 Turbo S for those who want to step up the game. In its most potent form, the Mansory-tuned model generates 888 hp (662 kW / 900 PS) and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) of torque from an upgraded twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six. Pricing was not disclosed, but Mansory says the Soft Kit can be configured to taste, with each component available on its own.
