2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Drops Price By $6300DW BurnettWe're over halfway through the year, but Hyundai just made the 2026 Ioniq 5 N official, and good news: it's way cheaper. The new starting price for the Ioniq 5 N is $61,500, including the $1600 destination charge. Compared to the 2025 model, that's a $6300 discount. Such a price drop sounds tantalizing, but remember that folks were taking advantage of the "lease loophole" up until the end of September 2025 that allowed dealerships to pass along the full $7500 credit to lessees in the form of a reduced lease cost. That said, there's no guarantee a dealer had to do such a thing, so the real reduction in price from Hyundai here is still a big deal, particularly for those who would like to buy instead of lease. In addition to the lower price, the Ioniq 5 N has a few notable updates for 2026. Every other version of the Ioniq 5 already made the switch from the CCS port to NACS, and now the 5 N completes the switchover by adopting the NACS port. Hyundai says it's including a CCS-to-NACS adapter for both Level 2 and fast charging.DW BurnettThere are some slightly more exciting improvements made, too. Hyundai says its N Drift Optimizer now includes 10 selectable stages, and Performance Blue Pearl joins the exterior color palette (previously, Performance Blue Matte was the only blue). Plus, the rear windows now have one-touch up/down, and a camera-based forward attention warning system is added to the suite of driver assistance systems.AdvertisementAdvertisementAn on-sale date still wasn't outlined in Hyundai's announcement, but look out for the 2026 Ioniq 5 N in dealerships soon now that pricing is official. You Might Also LikeIf You Can Only Own One Car, Make It One of TheseThese Are the Most Popular Cars by State
