The Starshine 8 initially entered the Chinese market in May 2025 with a starting price of 125,800 yuan (17,400 USD) and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Exterior and dimensions The Voyager series retains the same body dimensions of 5018 mm in length, 1918 mm in width, and 1480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2928 mm. New exterior colours include Danxia Mineral and Rizhao Gold. The Xinghe variant offers an optional Yaohei package that adds a front lip, body trim elements, and a sport rear bumper. Assisted driving and cockpit The Voyager series introduces the Qianli Haohan H5 assisted-driving system, which corresponds to the G-Pilot H5 system. Hardware includes one LiDAR sensor, 11 cameras, millimetre-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, powered by an Nvidia Orin platform. The system supports navigation-assisted driving in urban and highway scenarios, as well as parking functions, according to official data. Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a Flyme Auto 2 cockpit system and a 23-speaker Flyme Sound audio setup. Rear passengers receive electric executive seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Powertrain configurations The EM-i variants use a 1.5-litre engine producing 82 kW and 136 Nm, paired with an electric motor for a combined output of 257 kW and 398 Nm. These models are equipped with a 28.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC electric range of 225 km and fuel consumption of 3.32 L/100 km. The EM-P variant adopts a 1.5T engine rated at 120 kW and 255 Nm, with a combined system output of 300 kW and 605 Nm. Fuel consumption is reported at 3.41 L/100 km. Interior shows Flyme Auto 2 system.
