According to Chinese media outlet CLS, Aistland, the premium intelligent electric vehicle brand jointly developed by GAC Group and Huawei, has recently completed a capital increase exceeding RMB 1 billion ($147.2 million). The latest funding round was jointly backed by CATL, Boyuan Capital under Bosch, as well as several state-backed and industrial investment institutions including CSC Financial, Shenzhen Capital Group and Yuexiu Capital. The transaction also marks Aistland’s first large-scale introduction of external investors since its establishment. Prior to the capital increase, Aistland had only two shareholders, with GAC Group holding approximately 71.43% and GAC Aion holding around 28.57%.
