On June 4, GAC officially entered the Spanish market, with local automotive importer Grupo Invicta responsible for nationwide distribution, sales, and after-sales service operations. The two models making their Spanish debut are the Aion V and Aion UT. The Aion V is a midsize electric SUV powered by a 75.26 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. It delivers a WLTP combined range of 510 km and is priced from €35,990 ($46,540). Aion V Notably, the Aion V entered the UK market on May 28, with Spain becoming the latest stop in the model’s European rollout. On the retail side, GAC plans to establish 29 authorized dealerships across Spain in the first phase. The network is expected to expand to 45 locations by the end of 2026 and 58 by the end of 2027. After-sales support and spare-parts distribution will be handled through GAC’s European logistics center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which began operations in 2025 and serves as the company’s regional warehousing and distribution hub. Aion UT Under its expansion plan, GAC intends to grow its Spanish lineup to five models in 2026 by adding the GS4 gasoline SUV, the S7 plug-in hybrid, and the E9 plug-in hybrid MPV. By 2027, the portfolio is expected to expand to eight models spanning both new-energy and conventional internal-combustion vehicles. The European push comes as GAC records strong export growth.
