Gasgoo Munich- At the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026), GAC Group's incubated startup Huilun Technology showcased the fourth-generation wheel-legged humanoid robot GoMate Mini. Centered on real-world industrial settings like automotive production lines, the demonstration highlighted dynamic inspection, real-time visual perception, data platform management, a triple-folding configuration, and on-site waterproofing capabilities.Image Source: Huilun TechnologyIn the dynamic demonstration zone, GoMate Mini moved in continuous loops and interacted with the audience through gesture guidance. A large screen displayed the robot's real-time visual perception and recognition feed, translating environmental sensing capabilities—usually buried in sensors and algorithms—into intuitive, visible imagery.GoMate Mini also debuted its triple-folding form factor. Addressing high-frequency, fragmented logistics needs such as auto plant parts delivery, tooling transfer, and material handling between workstations, the robot can shift from a standing inspection posture to a load-bearing transport configuration—allowing a single unit to handle both patrol and logistics tasks. For Huilun Technology, the triple-folding mode is more than a novelty; it represents a critical product evolution from "single-role robots" to "flexible production line operators."Image Source: Huilun TechnologyEnabling a single robot to switch configurations based on the task not only boosts equipment utilization on the line but also opens a new path for expanding robotics from inspection into material handling and workshop logistics.GoMate Mini features a variable wheel-leg structure with three modes, balancing rapid mobility, obstacle traversal across complex terrain, and portability. It offers over 8 hours of battery life and the ability to autonomously right itself after a fall.Powered by industry-specific models, GoMate Mini can execute high-tempo tasks like sorting, handling, and assembly on automotive lines. Beyond the factory floor, it manages reception, delivery, facility services, and emergency response in campuses, covering diverse environments ranging from manufacturing plants to commercial complexes and rail transit systems.Nearly 50 GoMate Mini units have been deployed across Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Xiamen, and Tianjin, covering automotive production lines, campus security patrols, guided tours, and subway security assistance. Among seven flagship projects, the longest continuous operation reached 12 months. Collectively, the fleet has traveled roughly 63,000 kilometers during inspections and resolved about 189,000 anomalies—performing the equivalent workload of roughly 20.5 full-time employees.
