The regular Lobo now comes in at $34,000, which is down $3775 when compared with last year's model. It's a similar story for the Lobo High, which starts at $39,000 after receiving a $4270 reduction. Ford's pricing shakeup for the Maverick resulted in the floor for the turbocharged 2.0-liter rising. That's because, starting with the 2027 model year, Maverick customers will no longer be able to order the base XL trim with the EcoBoost 2.0-liter engine. With the base trim going hybrid-only, the least expensive Maverick equipped with the 2.0-liter is now the all-wheel-drive XLT, which comes out to $32,890 in non-hybrid guise.At least the base price is still attractive. At $29,990, the Maverick's base price, which applies to the hybrid XL trim, is unchanged for 2027. Car and Driver reached out to Ford for confirmation that the order guide is accurate.
