Ferrari 330 P4-Inspired Go Kart Brings Legendary Race Car Design to Miniature ScaleA rare Ferrari 330 P4-style go kart inspired by one of motorsport’s most celebrated endurance racers has surfaced for sale in Missouri. Built by the CyclekART Company of Biburg, Germany, the miniature machine recreates the look of Ferrari’s legendary 1960s prototype racer at approximately 70% scale while incorporating fully functional mechanical components beneath its detailed fiberglass bodywork. The kart is one of just three examples produced in collaboration with mini-car builder Guy Chappaz. Designed to closely mirror the iconic Ferrari 330 P4, the compact replica features signature styling elements including covered headlights, sculpted air vents, curved body lines, opening doors, removable body panels, and a removable roof section. A painted “Prova MO-53” license plate and period-inspired detailing further reinforce its resemblance to the original endurance racing car.The Ferrari 330 P4 remains one of the most admired sports prototypes ever produced by Ferrari. Developed in response to Ford’s dominant performance at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, the P4 became Ferrari’s answer in the escalating rivalry between the two manufacturers during the golden era of endurance racing.AdvertisementAdvertisementFerrari’s P4 made history in 1967 when the cars secured a memorable 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona. The model also achieved success at Monza and helped Ferrari capture the International Championship for Sports-Prototypes over 2.0 liters that season. Only four original P4-engined cars were ever built, making surviving examples among the rarest and most valuable Ferraris in existence. The miniature version now offered for sale captures much of the visual drama of the original while using simplified go-kart engineering. Power comes from a rear-mounted 200cc overhead-valve four-stroke single-cylinder engine rated at 6.5 horsepower. The engine has been fitted with a performance air filter and electric starter, while power is delivered to the rear axle through an automatic transmission with neutral and reverse gears. The kart rides on a box-section tubular steel chassis and uses front and rear coil-over suspension. Rear-mounted dual cross-drilled disc brakes provide stopping power. Gold-finished wheels with faux knock-off spinners and painted tire lettering help replicate the appearance of vintage endurance racers from the 1960s.Inside the cockpit, the driver sits in a single bucket seat equipped with red harnesses. Additional features include a quick-release steering wheel, drilled pedals, gated shifter with a wood knob, handbrake, and a dashboard fitted with a central tachometer and toggle switches for the exterior lighting system.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Ferrari-inspired CyclekART is now being offered for sale out of Bourbon, Missouri through Bring a Trailer.Source⚡️ Read the full article on MotoriousSign up for the Motorious Newsletter.
