The new model will reportedly enter the market shortly, offering customers “big dynamics, big space, and big safety.” This is definitely big talk for a 4.1-meter car with an electric motor for 85 kW. The Geely Galaxy Xingyuan became China’s best-selling car in 2025. Moreover, this urban EV retained this title in the period from January 2026 to May 2026, delivering 160,800 units, according to China EV DataTracker. Its domestic price lies between 64,800 and 94,800 yuan (9,545 – 13,960 USD). The Geely Xingyuan sells outside China under two name variants: Geely EX2 and Geely E2. Previously, this car entered foreign markets, turning into a hot seller in Belarus, where this car is locally assembled. The EX2 is also being mass-produced at the Renault plant in Brazil, as the French automaker forges closer ties with Geely. The Geely Xingyuan On July 6, Geely Auto Europe officially revealed that the Xingyuan is coming to the European Union under the E2 name. The brand’s officials highlighted that it is a “compact electric hatchback for your everyday life.” No more official information about the new model was provided by Geely Auto Europe. However, this model’s specs are well known. The Geely E2 is a compact electric hatchback with dimensions of 4135/1805/1580 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,650 mm. It adopts a “cute” styling with a closed front end and teardrop-shaped headlights. The car runs on 16-inch wheels. Other highlights of the Geely E2 include a 375-liter trunk and a 70-liter frunk. The car’s dashboard adopts a 14.6-inch touchscreen. The Geely E2 adopts a single electric motor for 85 kW (114 hp) on the rear axle. This e-motor is paired with a 39.4 kWh battery pack for 317 km of WLTP range. This car speeds up to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds. Information about the Geely E2’s specs for the EU will be revealed closer to the actual launch. It is worth noting that the Xingyuan will enter the UK under the EX2 name in late August 2026.
