According to unofficial reports, the vehicle is scheduled for a market debut on August 13, with display models expected to arrive at dealerships by the end of July. Design and dimensionsThe Qin Max continues the BYD Dynasty design language. The front fascia features a chrome trim strip connecting the headlights, complemented by a three-section air intake. The rear echoes this style with “Chinese knot” inspired full-width LED taillights, which feature a smoked finish and layered light textures. The vehicle measures 4,866 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Inside, the cabin adopts a wrap-around design accented with chrome elements. Key features include a full LCD instrument cluster, a floating centre touchscreen, and a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The centre console is equipped with practical amenities such as a wireless smartphone charging pad and dual cup holders. A new “Dawn Purple” interior colour scheme will also be available. The engine delivers a maximum power of 74 kW, while the motor provides 175 kW (235 hp). It is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. Pure electric: Offers two single-motor configurations with maximum power outputs of 120 kW (161 hp) and 240 kW (322 hp). Battery capacities are 52.868 kWh and 64.315 kWh, providing CLTC-rated ranges of 530 km and 630 km, respectively. Flash chargingThe Qin Max features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charging technology. The system is capable of charging from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes, and 10% to 97% in 9 minutes.
