Gasgoo Munich- Bethel Automotive Safety Systems has formally signed a development and supply agreement with a leading global automaker in North America for front brake calipers and rear electronic parking brake (EPB) caliper assemblies, according to Gasgoo.Slated for mass production by the end of 2028, the six-year program covers a total volume of 2.335 million vehicles, averaging 389,000 units annually. It stands as the company's largest single overseas contract to date.Bethel Automotive Safety Systems has already cultivated a long-standing partnership with the automaker, deeply involved in developing and producing brake calipers and lightweight cast aluminum components for several key models. According to its 2025 financial report, the company generated 12.01 billion yuan in revenue last year — a 20.91% increase. Regionally, domestic revenue climbed 20.40% to 10.30 billion yuan with a gross margin of 17.61%, up 0.47 percentage points. Overseas revenue surged 29.17% to 1.41 billion yuan, delivering a gross margin of 19.75%.Supporting this expansion, Bethel Automotive Safety Systems has established overseas R&D centers in Detroit and Frankfurt, creating a network spanning China, the U.S., and Germany. This setup enables synchronized development and rapid technical support across Asian, North American, and European markets.Beyond R&D, Bethel Automotive Safety Systems operates 17 production bases globally. Its Mexico plant entered mass production in the second half of 2023 and already supplies major North American automakers. Building on that, the company is pushing forward with a Morocco manufacturing base, scheduled to come online in 2027 to serve European and North African markets.As the project advances, Bethel Automotive Safety Systems plans to leverage its global synergies by integrating resources from its Chinese headquarters and its Saltillo, Mexico plant.
