Its launch price became 20,000 yuan (2,950 USD) lower than the pre-sales introductory price. The AUDI’s answer to the Chinese Xiaomi YU7 offers a 900V system, up to 500 kW (670 hp), and 751 km of range. AUDI is a new brand developed specifically in China. Despite keeping the name of the legacy automaker, it adopts the four-letter logo instead of the four-ring badge. AUDI focuses on younger buyers. Its cars follow the new design language that aims to meet the expectations of Chinese buyers. Last year, AUDI launched its first model, which is the E5 Sportback wagon. On May 29, 2026, the brand’s second model entered the market. It is the AUDI E7X. More about the AUDI E7X The AUDI E7X is a large five-seat crossover with a sloped roofline, pronounced rear fenders, and short overhangs. Its front end adopts a distinguishing running light element that consists of 1,446 LED units and supports eight welcome and farewell modes. The E7X also has digital projection headlights. They can project information on the road, including distance warnings and automatic parking assists. The AUDI E7X crossover Dimensions of the AUDI E7X are 5049/1997/1710 mm with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. For clarity, it is 63 mm longer, 2 mm wider, and 5 mm higher than the Audi Q8. The new electric SUV rides on 22-inch wheels with Brembo brakes. As mentioned, it is a five-seat SUV without the third-row seats available. The E7X offers a substantial 682 liters of trunk space instead. Interior and equipment The dashboard of the new AUDI-branded crossover aligns with the hi-tech design introduced by the E5 Sportback. There is a massive 27-inch screen complemented by a 12.3-inch LDC instrument cluster. The E7X could be optionally equipped with side-view mirrors. The front passenger has a power leg rest. The rear seats boast power adjustment, a ceiling-mounted 21.4-inch screen, and a built-in refrigerator. There is also a four-seat variant of the AUDI E7X with a massive center tunnel that has two wireless phone chargers and an 8-icnh touchscreen. The car boasts the Bose sound system with 26 speakers. The AUDI E7X will support the latest Momenta R7 learning model to boost assisted driving capabilities. From the hardware point, the E7X adopts 11 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 mm-wave radars, a LiDAR sensor, and a positioning unit. They send information to the Nvidia Orin X chip for 254 TOPS. Its ADAS system will reportedly support three-point U-turns, passage through narrow roads, and emergency avoidance of small animals entering blind spots. Powertrain and prices The AUDI E7X could be equipped with active air suspension with a height adjustment range of 80 mm and rear-wheel steering with a steering angle of 7 degrees. The car’s turning radius is 5.14 meters. The entry-level AUDI A7X offers a single-motor RWD system for 300 kW (402 hp) and 500 Nm. This electric motor is powered by a CATL-made ternary NMC battery for 100 kWh. The car’s CLTC range reaches 705 km. The AUDI E7X powertrain The long-range variant of the AUDI E7X RWD has a 109 kWh pack, enabling 751 km of range. It speeds up to 100 km/h in 6.25 seconds. There is also a more powerful variant of the AUDI E7X equipped with two e-motors for 500 kW (670 hp) and a 100 kWh battery. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and can drive up to 635 km on a full charge. The 4WD long-range variant has a 109 kWh battery for 660 km of range. Previously, the E7X surpassed the Xiaomi YU7 and the Porsche Macan Electric at the Asia’s First Ridge Circuit.
