This Fourth of July, the United States will enter its 250th year of independence, and you can count on a lot of celebrations going down around the country. One of those celebrating will be Ram, which will mark the historic event with a series of special-edition pickup trucks, aptly named the America250 series.Revealed this week, the series is based on the 2026 Ram 1500, with buyers able to choose between the Big Horn, Laramie, and Rebel trims. Buyers can also choose between just three colors, which are – you guessed it – red, white, and blue. It follows a similar special edition based on the Ford F-250 revealed by Texas tuning company and supercar builder Hennessey in February. Red, White, And Ram RamPickup trucks are already viewed as patriotic buys by many, and Ram's 1500 America250 series builds on this with commerorative details, including a graphic of the American flag in black on a standard Sport Performance hood and on the bedsides. Additional touches include an “America Made Us” script on aluminum door sill treadplates, a black America250 logo on the upper glovebox door, and a custom leather key tag with an embossed America250 logo on one side and an American flag graphic on the reverse. A special America250 graphic also shows up in the digital cluster at start up.But beyond these patriotic touches, the 1500 America250 series also packs in many of the 1500's most popular options. The Big Horn version builds on the Level 2 Equipment Group and layers in blacked-out exterior trim, a spray-in bedliner, and 20-inch wheels, while the cabin gets blue cloth upholstery with red, white, and blue stitching, plus red seat belts, and Velcro seatback patches designed to hold military-style name or flag badges.RamMove up to the Laramie or Rebel and the America250 treatment leans more premium without losing its patriotic flair. Both trims adopt leather performance seats with blue inserts and contrast stitching, plus a larger 14.5-inch touchscreen (instead of the standard 12.0 inch screen in the Big Horn), a 10.25-inch passenger display, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. There’s also dual wireless charging pads, and a full suite of comfort features including heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. The Laramie adds a gloss-black billet grille and 22-inch wheels for a more street-focused look, while the Rebel keeps things off-road ready with all-terrain tires, tow hooks, and a more rugged front fascia.
