According to the company’s CEO Lei Jun, it will cost seemingly higher than the regular YU7. The new car boasts 990 hp and 705 km of range. It set a lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife among crossovers. The Xiaomi YU7 GT will be available for purchase with five body color options. They include Cherry Red Metallic, Volcanic Gray Metallic, Obsidian Black, Pearl White, and Titanium Metallic. It will also offer three interior modifications. They are Racing Red Luxury Sport Seats, Iris Purple Luxury Comfort Seats, and Night Flame Black Luxury Comfort Seats. Two sets of 21-inch wheels are also available. This five-seater has a 288 kW (386 hp) electric motor in the front axle and a 450 kW (604 hp) e-motor in the rear. Xiaomi officials prefer to call the rear electric motor “V8s EVO” as its peak power output is similar to a V-shaped eight-cylinder. It can spin up to 28,000 RPM. Xiaomi YU7 GT The V8s EVO’s power increased by 5.9% due to self-developed silicon carbide power modules. It also has 0.15 mm stator and rotor silicon steel sheets. The mentioned highlights helped to boost the efficiency to 98.38%. Back to the Xiaomi YU7 GT, its combined power reaches 738 kW (990 hp). The top speed is 300 km/h. A 101.7 kWh ternary NMC pack powers electric motors, providing 705 km of range. Thanks to the 800V high-voltage system, the YU7 GT can charge 80% in 12 minutes. Other highlights of the YU7 GT include a dual-chamber air suspension, dual-valve continuous damping system, and an electronic limited-slip differential. Xiaomi mentioned that the overall chassis tuning was completed by Xiaomi’s European R&D team. According to Lei Jun, the YU7 GT is designed for today’s elite, and the price of the car will be high. China EV DataTracker indicates that Xiaomi delivered 9,876 units of the YU7 crossover in April 2026 domestically. Its cumulative deliveries reached 81,499 cars. For comparison, Tesla sold 104,948 units of the Model Y crossover in China in the same period.
