2026 BMW R 1300 GS Aurum EditionIf you live in the Netherlands, you're in luck!Let's be real: When some motorcycle manufacturers release a special edition, it's only paint and graphics. Now, clearly, we all like things that we find visually appealing, so I'm in no way saying that aesthetics don't matter. However, I'm also the kind of person where, if someone's going to slap a surcharge on something, I want some substance along with my pretties. Porque no los tres, BMW probably said (only in German)? There will be exactly 100 each of the R 1300 GS and R 1300 GSA Aurum Editions released in the Netherlands, and each will come with its own "XX of 100" numbered badge on the handlebars. The base R 1300 GS that the Aurums are based on, incidentally, is the very popular Triple Black colorway.Don't Stress The GSThis Badass Enduro Kit Turns The BMW R1300 GS Into The Rally Bike It Pretends To BeI Thought BMW's R 1300 GS Was Too Tall For Me, But To My Surprise, I Grew To Appreciate ItIf that's not enough substance to get excited about, then here are the details for each of these special Dutch GS machines. The BMW R 1300 GS Aurum Edition, in addition to getting the factory accessories packages mentioned above, also gets the adaptive ride height and automatic shift assist (ASA), as well as a heated seat, anti-theft alarm, gold spoked wheels, and top case rack.
