Power rises slightly to 508 horsepower thanks to a less restrictive exhaust, although it still keeps its catalytic converter. The familiar 9,000-rpm redline remains. Power routes through a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission, rather than the 911 Cup's pneumatically actuated six-speed sequential dog.The road car's carpets, acoustic insulation, trim, and airbags have all been thrown in the trash. In their place sits a welded FIA-spec roll cage, an adjustable racing bucket seat with a six-point harness, and an integrated fire suppression system.
