Image Credit: therubbishdude on TikTokA video recently posted to TikTok shows exactly why you should be careful whenever you're driving through a narrow street. At the end of the day, any damage you incur to your vehicle would be your own fault. This Porsche owner wasn't just not paying attention when driving through this street in South East Queensland; they willingly scraped by a trailer meant for trash removal. What's even worse is that the driver tried to blame someone else. The driver and his passenger ended up being an elderly couple who blamed the vehicle's owner, an online creator named @therubbishdude. I wonder how they fared against the other vehicles that happened to be on that same road.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe damage was quite literally the driver's fault, and the person who owns the vehicle happened to be recording for his TikTok channel when the incident happened. In cases like this, it's a good idea to be recording your every move, just in case you need proof.Porsche Driver Tries To Thread the Needle and Comes up ShortThe video starts with @therubbishdude throwing away what looks to be used wooden boards or panelling into a trailer meant for holding large loads. Suddenly, a black Porsche SUV appears from behind one of the swinging metal doors of the trailer. It's unclear if the driver of the Porsche hit the door, but he definitely hit the rest of the trailer. When @therubbishdude moved the door and stepped out of the way for the vehicle, a sharp sound can be heard, and both the trailer and the SUV shake, implying a collision had happened.Immediately, the passenger and driver step out of the vehicle to assess the damage. It appears that only the rim of the vehicle sustained any damage, but it isn't very clear in the video. The Couple Checked the Damage, Then Pretended Nothing HappenedWhen @therubbishdude approached the two to discuss what happened, it appears as though they immediately ignored him. He quickly goes on to explain that the road was already pretty narrow to begin with.AdvertisementAdvertisementHowever, it still seemed as though the driver and passenger wanted nothing to do with him. Almost as quickly as they got out of the vehicle to check on the damage, they went right back inside and drove away.Even the homeowner at the property that he was currently working at was surprised that someone had just done that. He even notes that they didn't even say sorry for hitting his vehicle.Commenters Agree the Trailer Wasn't the Problem HereCommenters had a field day with the events in the video, with many siding with @therubbish dude. One person wrote, "Not your fault, she could have drove on the grass.Similarly, another person wrote, "She's the one who continued to drive knowing it was a tight spot. Surely she could have asked you to move or even go another way." Some also commented on the fact that she damaged the trailer as well.AdvertisementAdvertisementAnother person wrote, "If there is any damage to your trailer, I would be reporting it to the police cause she left the scene of an incident and also claiming through your insurance."Fortunately, the incident appears to have ended with nothing more than some damaged pride and a scratched rim, but the video serves as a reminder that if a road looks too narrow, it's usually better to stop, reassess, and avoid turning a simple drive into an expensive mistake. If you want more stories like this, follow Guessing Headlights on Yahoo so you don't miss what's coming next.
