The extreme SUV builders at Rezvani Motors have just dropped a teaser for their latest project. The first image for the 2027 Rezvani Fortress shows very little, and doesn't tell us much more. But we do have a few things we can share about this new monster.Among other things, this time the build appears to be based on a Ford. Not just any Ford truck, either, but the rowdiest pickup of them all. We suspect it's an F-150 Raptor R-based machine, no doubt ready to do with Ford what its Tank, Dark Knight, and Vengeance did with their own base vehicles. A Truck Worthy Of the Fortress Name Rezvani Rezvani's images show a familiar design language. Like its other models, the Fortress looks over-the-top tough and rugged, like it was pulled straight out of a near-future science fiction movie. This Fortress is exactly the kind of truck where Judge Dredd pulling up and hopping out wouldn't come as a surprise at all. Or perhaps it's transporting something that could save the world, like the secret to clean water or a child with a map tattooed on their back. The truck is what a Cybertruck wishes it was, and maybe should have been. The company describes the Fortress (Ford-tress?) as a "tactical off-road truck" which is similar to the language it uses to describe the Wrangler-based Tank. Its Lamborghini Urus-based Dark Night is more about speed and looks, while the Cadillac Escalade-based Vengeance is about luxury and security, though even the Lambo lets you tick a box for ballistic protection if you want it.Rezvani says the heart of the truck is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8. That's what points us directly to the Raptor R as a starting point, since nobody else offers an engine matching that description. While Ford's engine makes 720 horsepower, Rezvani's version will make 850. Of course, there's always the possibility of a crate engine being dropped into some other truck, but the Raptor R is kind-of already a tactical off-road truck. Just ask the camo dudes at Area 51 how they work. Or don't. You probably shouldn't try talking to them.Even 850 hp might not be enough to make up for the extra weight if you were hoping for something faster than a stock Raptor R, though. Especially if you tick the boxes for the hefty armor and other features. The truck will come with a 4x4 system and suspension the company describes as being "engineered to dominate the most extreme terrains." The truck itself might have some trouble with that, especially if you opt for the available armor pack. Expect Armor, Pepper Spray, And More Rezvani Rezvani didn't specify what armor and security features it would offer with the Fortress, but its catalog for the Tank has some hints. The Tank offers ballistic glass and armored protection for the body, radiator, fuel tank, and other crucial parts, along with underbody explosion protection. It has features like night vision, runflat tires, sirens, a pepper spray dispenser, and even electrified door handles."Fortress is our answer to a full market of predictable, uninspired trucks," said Ferris Rezvani, Founder and CEO of Rezvani Motors. "We set out to create something that has true capabilities; extreme off-road performance, serious utility, and the highest level of security; all in one vehicle. Fortress is bold, aggressive, and built with purpose."Rezvani is taking orders for the new trucks now, and plans to reveal the Fortress in full in June. Pricing hasn't been announced, but the Tank's starting price of $175,000 and the Vengeance from $285,000 both give you an idea of what to expect.
