A Grubhub driver showed up to collect a delivery order and found himself picking up a burrito at a Honda dealership. His reaction and his tour of the mouth-watering menu left some viewers asking why their local dealership can’t do the same. Hutch (@dhutch1988) posted the 59-second video that has since received over 7,660 views. The TikTok opens with a shot of the exterior of Honda of Fort Worth, located near the intersection of I-30 and Loop 820 on the west side of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. A text overlay reads: "Honda clownin y’all car dealership." ‘They Got A Whole Coffee Shop In Here’ Hutch doesn’t waste time getting to the point. "Tell me why I’m on a Grubhub right now and then send me to the Honda dealership," he says at the top of the video. "Let me find out somebody about to get themself a Honda and I’m [going to] drop it out to him." Inside, Hutch walks through the dealership to a cafe with a point-of-sale display cycling through menu items. He starts narrating what he sees: "They got nachos. They got enchiladas. Stop playing with them, Honda. Chicken fried chicken." He’s clearly impressed. "Honda is killing it. They got a whole coffee shop in here," he says. "Y’all need to up y’all game. I’m telling y’all." The video cuts to Hutch leaving the dealership with a bagged burrito, then to a final shot from inside his car. "They got Twin Creeks and a Honda on 820 on the west side. Pull up," he says. Twin Creeks Cafe: A Dealership Restaurant Since 2010 The restaurant Hutch stumbled into is Twin Creeks Cafe, a full-service breakfast-and-lunch spot that has operated inside the Honda of Fort Worth dealership since 2010. According to the dealership’s website, the cafe was opened as "a convenient and healthy option in West Fort Worth." The menu goes well beyond what you’d expect at a car dealership. Breakfast offerings include omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and even quesadillas. For lunch, there are burgers, Mexican food options, and even steaks. Twin Creeks serves from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They do charge, though. When commenter Alexandra Aleister asked, "It’s not complimentary?" Hutch replied, "Hell no." Not Just A Honda Thing Honda of Fort Worth isn’t the only DFW dealership with a dining option. Commenter Giovanni Cervantes pointed out that "Vandergriff Honda in Arlington also has a restaurant inside if I’m not mistaken. I went in there once for some bumper clips and I was shocked to see a restaurant next to the parts department!" Another commenter noted it’s a broader local trend. "It’s pretty common in DFW dealerships," wrote one user. Veronica Love added, "Yup, even the auction has a restaurant." The trend extends beyond Texas. According to Brand Innovators, luxury automakers have increasingly leaned into dining experiences to draw customers into showrooms. Genesis House in New York’s Meatpacking District includes a fine-dining Korean restaurant. Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello, Italy has hosted Ristorante Cavallino since 1950, according to the article, and even at the mass-market level, dealerships across the country have added cafes, movie theaters, and arcade lounges as service-wait amenities. Smart Business Or A Gimmick? Not every commenter was sold on the full Honda of Fort Worth experience. User r_657 warned, "Buy their food but don’t buy a car from them. They have sold multiple used lemons that have issues after less than one day of owning. Happened to me and others. Read their reviews." Others saw the cafe for what it likely is: a smart business move. "I mean I’d sell you some frozen reheated food if it helps you buy a 40k car too," wrote It’s The Dan Show. Commenter J_unit00 had a different theory about who the cafe really serves. When another user marveled at the dealership doing big things for their customers, J_unit00 replied, "Not really, it’s to keep the employees from leaving." Kev took a more practical view, posting "That makes sense though. While waiting on repair they could be snacking." For regular customer Alexis Marie Cordova, the dealership delivers on all fronts. "That’s my tried and true dealership. I just got my second car there last week. They’re amazing," she wrote. Hutch replied, "Hell, I wanted to buy a car just for the food."
