The guiding prices for the new models range from 152,900 yuan (22,500 USD) to 172,900 yuan (25,300 USD). The new Smart #1 maintains its family design language while implementing several upgrades. Most notably, the vehicle now features an 800V electrical architecture, Geely’s 16-in-1 electric drive, and the integration of roof-mounted LiDAR. ExteriorThe exterior features the “cyber light and shadow” through-type LED headlights (comprising 134 LEDs) and a large front ventilation grille with integrated breathing lights. Key updates include the addition of a LiDAR sensor on the roof and new perception probes on the front fenders. The door handles have been updated to a semi-hidden design to meet national standards. The vehicle measures 4270mm in length, 1822mm in width, and 1636mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Front, side and rear of the refreshed Smart #1. InteriorInside, the Smart #1 has been upgraded with a 10.2-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10-inch adaptive HUD. The centrepiece is a new 15.4-inch 2.5K ultra-clear central screen running the latest smart OS, customised via the Flyme Auto system and powered by a 4nm Dragon Eagle 6P cockpit chip with an AI agent. The seats have 24 different combination modes, and the luggage capacity ranges from 313L to 976L. The audio experience is powered by a 13-speaker Sennheiser system with a peak power of 640W supporting 5.1 surround sound. The interior of the refreshed Smart #1. Autonomous drivingThe vehicle is equipped with 31 perception hardware components, including the roof LiDAR, powered by the Nvidia Orin Y chip. It utilises the full-version G-ASD G-Pilot (Qianli Haohan) H5 assisted driving system based on the G-ASD 4.0 model, which features a WAM world behaviour model with one hundred billion parameters, supporting mapless Navigation on Signalized Paths (NSP) for both urban and highway environments. Performance and chargingThe new smart #1 is built on a standard 800V architecture using Geely’s “Thunder” 16-in-1 silicon carbide electric drive. The rear motor delivers a peak power of 245 kW (329 hp) and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, enabling a 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 200km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a 61.52 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, providing a CLTC range of 535 km. Thanks to 6C ultra-fast charging technology, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes. The chassis features a MacPherson front suspension and a five-link rear suspension.
