Porsche will unveil a new 911 variant next week. What is it? We still don't know. But a lone teaser image offers a few clues about what we should expect. Porsche says the new 911 will offer "pure driving pleasure" and that it will be "a particularly fun sports car," but that’s all the automaker is telling us for now. We have to scrutinize the teaser photo for more information. The car, draped in a black sheet, appears to be a cabriolet. There is a clear line just above the windshield that looks to highlight where the convertible roof meets the surround. The sheet also seems to outline a pair of GT3-style hood vents, suggesting this might be a GT3 Cabriolet. If this is a drop-top GT3, it will likely have Porsche’s 4.0-liter flat-six engine, which produces 502 horsepower. It should also be available with a six-speed manual transmission. We will know all the details next week. Porsche will unveil the new 911 on April 14 at 10 am ET. You can watch the reveal on the automaker's YouTube channel.
