This year's updated model is midpack, and that's with a time that beat the '23 version's 19.3-second effort by almost two seconds. Let that sink in for a second, or 17.4.Marc Urbano Michael simari - Car and DriverThe Turbo S is one of the few returning nameplates from the last event, but Porsche has made so many changes to it that it barely counts as the same vehicle. Instead of a twin-turbo 3.7-liter flat-six, the Turbo S now houses a 3.6-liter flat-six with smaller, electrified turbos and an electric motor that bring the combined power up to 701 horses. That herd runs through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and out to all four corners. Brake rotors also grew, to 16.1 inches in the rear; the fronts remain 16.5-inchers. If it were a rematch against 2023's league of racers, the Turbo S would once again be at the top of the pile, but as it stands, the Porsche's incredible 2321-foot run and third-best stopping distance of 533 feet couldn't beat out the top half of this year's group.AdvertisementAdvertisementIt wasn't for lack of effort. The 911 was one of the easier cars to set up. Unlike some of the other electrified machines, it didn't require any special battery warm-up. Just put it in Sport to keep its aero bits tucked in, set the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) to Sport, and do the usual with brake and throttle. Pressing the Sport Response button on the drive-mode dial ups the launch rpm to 4000, and then it's left foot up and a straight-arrow ride to 150 mph.Marc Urbano Michael simari - Car and DriverBack to 0–150–0 Speed Test 2026You Might Also LikeGift Guide: Best Ride-On Electric Cars for KidsFuture Cars Worth Waiting For: 2025–2029
