On May 28, ONVO announced that the updated ONVO L60 will officially begin pre-sales on May 29 at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Auto Show, with market launch scheduled for June. The auto show will also mark the first full lineup appearance for the ONVO brand since its establishment. Alongside the updated L60, the ONVO L90 and L80 will also be displayed. Based on currently disclosed information, the new L60’s key focus has shifted away from space and pricing toward intelligent driving and smart cabin upgrades. Updated ONVO L60 Exterior changes remain relatively minor. The new model retains the split-headlight design of the current version, but the front fascia has been revised. The air ducts previously located on both sides of the front bumper have been removed, while the bumper lines have become smoother and more rounded. The roof now adds a LiDAR unit, and the vehicle also introduces multiple new rear badge styles and newly designed 20-inch wheel options. Inside the cabin, the updated L60 adds a rear roof-mounted entertainment screen, dual-section powered sunshades, and an onboard heating-and-cooling refrigerator. Interior view of updated L60 The suede-like material previously used on the seatbacks has also been replaced with leather. Compared with the current model, the most significant upgrades center on intelligent driving technology. NIO founder, chairman and CEO William Li previously confirmed that the updated ONVO L60 will become the first model to carry NIO’s in-house developed 5nm automotive-grade chip, the Shenji NX9031, alongside the company’s world model architecture and SkyOS vehicle operating system. The new vehicle will offer two configurations. One is a LiDAR-equipped version paired with the Coconut+ system powered by the Shenji NX9031 chip, while the other will continue using the Orin X chip with a pure vision-based solution. Updated L60’s wheel The ONVO L60 was first launched in September 2024, with a starting vehicle price of RMB 206,900 ($30,520). Under NIO’s BaaS battery rental plan, the entry price was lowered to around RMB 130,000 ($19,180). Data showed NIO delivered 323,900 vehicles in 2025, with the ONVO L60 contributing 64,230 units, accounting for nearly 20% of total deliveries.
