Gasgoo Munich-Boshi Group—a strategic partner of Mercedes-Benz in China—has recently become the first authorized partner for UBTECH's bionic humanoid robots in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The two parties have signed a strategic sales cooperation agreement.Under the agreement, Boshi Group will sell UBTECH's ultra-bionic humanoid robot, the U1, across Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, as well as through its network of Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai dealerships. Boshi, along with Mechanical Eden, is now the first official authorized partner for UBTECH's full robot lineup in the region, overseeing the entire chain for the U1, from product experience and deployment to standardized delivery and official maintenance.Moving forward, UBTECH's U1 robots will be rolled out in batches to Mechanical Eden spaces across multiple Boshi locations. The move aims to elevate high-end automotive service with intelligent, immersive consumer experiences. At the same time, the group will offer retail and leasing services to affluent clients, pushing ultra-bionic humanoid robots into households and diverse public service scenarios.As UBTECH's first full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robot, the U1 is designed for emotional companionship. It boasts a full stack of proprietary technology, ranging from bionic skin and embodied intelligence hardware to operating systems and large emotional models—along with mass manufacturing capabilities. Applications include emotional support, daily companionship, elderly care, reception services, cultural tourism exhibitions, and psychological therapy.The series comes in three versions: Lite, Pro, and Ultra. The Lite model retails at 119,800 RMB, while the Pro version costs 169,800 RMB. The Ultra line is priced at 990,000 RMB for the male model and 880,000 RMB for the female model. Since pre-sales began in early June, total orders for the U1 across all online and offline channels have surpassed 13,361 units by the end of the month.
