According to the German company Larte Design, "Porsche’s list of options ends somewhere. Larte Design begins precisely there." Considering the absolutely insane amount of options Porsche offers on new vehicles, that's a very bold statement for the aftermarket upfitter to make. Then again, Porsche doesn't have pink carbon fiber, so for better or worse, here we are.Larte seems proud of its Pink Dry Carbon finish, and it might suit a supercar or hypercar that's designed to be a bit obnoxious, especially with a bonkers stand-out paint job. But on a basic Porsche Cayenne? Admittedly, a "basic" Cayenne can still be one of the quickest and fastest vehicles in the world. And Larte's new kit does solve a problem that, despite Porsche's extensive options list, some discerning owners still run into: having a vehicle that looks unlike any other Cayenne in the world.LARTEWith that in mind, here's Larte's take on a Cayenne that, um, stands out. And you can do it with a simple bolt-on package. We don't know if that's a good thing, or a bad thing. The "One-Of-One" Solution Is Pink Carbon In its promotional material, Larte leans heavily into the idea of its customers "transforming a standard configuration into a personal visual signature" by replacing 11 trim elements of their snazzy six-figure SUV. The kit is a simple replacement using the same mounting as the original parts. The Larte Edition package replaces the front bumper elements, front splitter, grille set, air intake trims, hood, side skirt extensions, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, roof spoiler, brake light elements, and exhaust tips.Larte is keen to say that the carbon components are manufactured in the very same facilities that supply Koenigsegg, Bugatti, and Porsche, which is nice. The color is mixed into the material at the production level, so it won't chip or scuff off. Larte also says the result is UV resistant. With all of that lumped together,Larte can brag that it has the first Porsche Cayenne body kit made from 100% Pink Dry Carbon. Huzzah. Coming To An Influencer Feed Near You LARTE According to Larte, the replacement trim kit is road legal throughout Europe, but our advice to the German company is to get it to the US for the most likely customer bases – Florida, New Jersey, and the Southern California cities like Orange County and Los Angeles. Basically, these are the markets where you're most likely to regularly see bedazzled license plates and/or concentrations of attention-seeking social media influencers."A LARTE Edition Cayenne is a daily driver with a presence that no mass-produced vehicle can replicate. In a market where discerning clients increasingly seek vehicles that feel truly personal – rather than merely well-configured – a Cayenne crafted entirely from Pink Dry Carbon shifts the very concept of 'configuration' toward that of a design object: a true "one-of-one."– Larte DesignThinking about it, Larte could be onto something here with colored carbon fiber. The high end of the market is already overrun with carbon fiber decoration, while that sporty mid-to-high market that aspires to true look-at-me decadence isn't so well served. SUVs like the BMW X6 or Mercedes GLE coupe would be prime targets alongside the base Porsche Cayenne models in the US, and we know the company has form with the other German brands. If this kind of thing is to your taste, Larte's design team is there to help customers bring their vision to life and "transform their vehicle into a true expression of its owner's personality." All it needs is a photo of your vehicle, and the extent to which you really want to make it your own.Source: Larte Design
