Lance Stroll has been making the most of his summer break, with the Aston Martin driver spotted cruising through the streets of Monaco behind the wheel of an ultra-rare DBR22 worth around £2 million.First unveiled in 2022, the Aston Martin DBR22 was created to celebrate 10 years of the British manufacturer's bespoke Q division. The model is deeply rooted in Aston Martin's racing heritage, with its design drawing inspiration from the legendary DBR1, one of the marque's most significant competition cars. The DBR1 famously secured victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959, and the DBR22 carries that heritage into a modern two-seater open-cockpit package.The DBR22 also has the performance figures to match its striking appearance. Under the bonnet is a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 producing 705 hp, with power sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. With only 22 examples produced, the DBR22 is a particularly rare machine, even by the standards of high-end Aston Martin models. Lamborghini produced just 63 coupés and 19 Roadsters, with the model becoming the manufacturer's first production hybrid to combine a supercapacitor with a 6.5-litre V12. Producing a combined 819 horsepower, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
